Rhonda Jean (Kissler) Blair

Rhonda Jean (Kissler) Blair finally won her battle for freedom from cancer at her home on April 8, 2010 in Casper, WY. She was born in Casper, WY on May 2, 1971 to Ronald Kissler and Jean (Kissler) Vega. She was raised and attended schools locally, and graduated from Natrona County High School in May 1989. She traveled extensively before settling in Arlington, TX.

Rhonda married James Hobgood in Feb.1992 and they later divorced. They had one son, Cody Hobgood. She married Jason Blair in May 2004 and had a daughter, Courtney Blair.

Rhonda was an active member of her church, as a youth minister, Sunday school and children's church teacher. She enjoyed crafting and needlework, and was always looking for a great bargain. As a youth, she was involved in girl scouts, roller skating and dance. As an adult, she was into hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family. She was an avid animal lover, any size or shape, as was evident by the menagerie of critters she often had. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains around the family summer home in Ten Sleep, WY.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Jason; her two children Cody and Courtney; her grandparents, Lee and Carlene Weiss and Blanche Kissler; her parents, Jean Vega and Ronald and Roxie Kissler; her siblings, Merlisa, Rocky, Mykael, Seri and Jennifer and their families and numerous aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life service will be held at Grace Bible Baptist Church in Casper, WY at 2 p. m. on Tuesday April 13, 2010. Burial will take place at a later time in Ten Sleep WY.

She will be profoundly missed by all who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Association.
