TEN SLEEP ---- Byron E. Breeden, 83, passed away Oct. 27, 2005 at his home, at the Breeden Ranch in Ten Sleep.
Byron was born Jan. 29, 1922 to David and Edna (White) Breeden in Casper. He spent his life at the ranch attending grade school at the Otter Creek School and then in Ten Sleep. Byron married Doris M. Cogdill on Jan. 24, 1943 at the Cogdill Ranch in Ten Sleep. Byron was a true gentleman cowboy. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He taught family, his extended family, and us by example with patience, humor and loving care. He was a valuable, dependable neighbor and friend, and a trusted member of the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ralph and Robert, and one son Orville Joe Breeden. Byron is survived by his wife, Doris Breeden of Ten Sleep, four children, Virginia (David) Largent of Worland, Martha (Jim) Sutherland of Ten Sleep, Thelma Powell of Ten Sleep, Clinton (Jeanette) Breeden of Ten Sleep; five grandchildren, Jef (Gina) Sutherland of Billings, Mont., Bruce (Wendi) Largent of Billings, Marcy (Brett) Ageris of Worland, Chuck (Cris) Powell of Wolcott, Vt., Ralph (Robin) Powell of Thermopolis, Seven great grandchildren; two sisters Elizabeth Bader and Mayme Bader of Ten Sleep, a number of nieces and nephews and unofficially adopted children.
Services will be held at later date. Memorials may be made to the Ten Sleep Ambulance in care of Bryant Funeral Home PO Box 524 Worland, WY 82401. Bryant Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
