Carol Lorenz was born February 28, 1901, in Austria.  In 1920 she lived in Yellowstone County, Montana, and married William (Blue) Glanville at that place.  In 1921, the couple were blessed with a handsome son, William C. Glanville (Billy) and in 1924, a daughter Carolyn June Glanville joined the family.

Blue was employed in steel work and with the Wyoming Highway Commission for a number of years.  When they retired they moved to Laramie, Albany County, Wyoming where they lived out their days.  Their son was killed at the age of 17 in a hunting accident on ChildŐs Creek above Ten Sleep where they had lived for some time.  Bill Glanville, CarolŐs husband passed away in 1974.  She leaves her daughter Carolyn June Glanville Frison and a grand-daughter Carol Lynn Frison Pracek to grieve her passing.  She died 23 November 1992 in Laramie, WY.

Memories:  Carol Lorenz Glanville was a gracious, friendly lady with an infectious smile and laugh.  I was a child when I knew her most closely as she and my mother, Fae Moses, were in Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW together and shared good times together.  fb
