The infant son of John and Elsie Oneta Greet lived a short span on earth and never in the haven of their home on upper Nowood.  He was born in 1953 and died in 1953.  The child was their first baby and was not expected to live after its arrival.

Memories:  The town felt the sorrow of the young coupleóOneta and John Greet when the expectant mother delivered an infant son.  It was apparent from its birth that the baby would not survive long.  We felt that the parents would experience grief too great to bear and probably would always feel bereft of their firstborn.  Fb
