  Rodney Frank Greet

    CHEYENNE --- Open visitation with the family of Rodney Frank Greet, 62, of Cheyenne will be held Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 6-8  p.m. at  Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne.

   Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

   Rodney died Saturday, August 2, 2003 at United  Medical Center-West in Cheyenne.

   Rodney was born July 7, 1941 in Worland to George and Geneva (Frimml) Greet.  He was raised  on the Greet  Ranch at Big Trails and graduated from Ten Sleep High School in 1959.

   Rodney served four years in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965.

   On Feb. 11, 1965, he married Ruth Cantrel of Mark Tree, Ark. in Newfoundland, Canada  where he was stationed at the time.

   He worked in civil service at F.E. Warren Air Force  Base for 18 years; two and one-half years at Denver Federal Center; and as an electronic technician for Laramie County schools for seven years.

   He enjoyed hunting, fishing, electronics and his family.  He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

   Rodney is survived by his wife, Ruth of Cheyenne; two daughters, Connie Sibert of Cheyenne and Rita  (Todd) Henning of Wellington, Colo.; his parents, George and Geneva Greet of Ten Sleep; a brother, Tom (Linda) of Buffalo; two sisters, Bonnie (Fred) Drake and Jeannie (Jeff) Jeffers of Worland.
