   Benjamin Walter Helmer was born at Big Trails, Wyoming. March 1,

1891, and died at Rochester, Minnesota, September 6, 1920, aged twenty years, six months and five days.

   His life was spent near to the place of his birth, and on October 25th, 1915, he was united in marriage with Miss. Mary A. Shiver.

   Two little daughters were born to this union who are now left fatherless and to the care of the grief stricken widow.  His parents are still living besides two brothers and one sister.

   The funeral services were conducted at the Tensleep Methodist church and J. A. Alford officiating. The church was crowded with sympathizing friends and fully fifty were not able to find room in the building.  His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery in the church yard.
