TEN SLEEPER DIES OF HEART ATTACK

  Lorenzo D. Mills, of Ten Sleep, died suddenly at Ten Sleep Friday of an acute attack of heart trouble.

   Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Adventist Church in Ten Sleep, the Rev. Bean officiating, and interment made in the Ten Sleep Cemetery.

   The music for the occasion was furnished by Mrs. A. J. Shaffer, Miss Ethel Shaffer, and Miss Bessie Jacobs.  The pallbearers were A. J. Shaffer, Archie Jacobs, George Brown, P. O. Fish, Ed Ludwick, and Pearl Lewis.

   Lorenzo Dow Mills was born in DeKalb County, Missouri, February 9, 1872, the son of Benjamin A. and Eliza A. (Perry) Mills.  In 1873, the family moved to Colorado and to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1875.  In 1892, the move to the Big Horn Basin was made and the Deceased took up a homestead on the Nowood River above Ten Sleep.  Several years later, he returned to Missouri where he remained for 15 years after which, he again came to Wyoming and has made his home here until his death.

   He is survived by 4 brothers, C. P. Mills of Maysville, Missouri; Thomas Mills, Oliver G. Mills, and Edward C. Mills, all of Ten Sleep.  One brother died in infancy.

   For several years, he has been associated with his brother, Oliver, in the operation of a filling station in Ten Sleep.
