Mrs. Carrie Bell Morton

     Mrs. Carrie Bell Morton, 84, died Tuesday in Pendleton, Ore., where she had made her home for the last 10 years.
     She was born in Nebraska Nov. 27, 1887, the daughter of William and Mary Reid.  She married Charles Sinclair Morton in Nebraska Jan. 3, 1918 and the couple lived in Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming before her husbands death in 1956.
     Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Mary Malvina) Ainsworth of Pendleton and Mrs. Herbert (Doris O.) Ainsworth of Worland.  Two sisters and two brothers also survive.
     Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Worland Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Rev. Mike Burton officiating.  Burial will follow at Ten Sleep.  Pallbearers will be George Greet, Archie Harvard, Emer Curtis, Wayne Larkins, Alden Curtis and Clayton Curtis.
     Veile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Typed Note:  Mrs. Carrie Belle Norton was born Nov. 27, 1887, to Mrs. and Mrs. William Joseph Reid at Dorchester, Nebraska.  On January 30, 1918, she married Charles Sinclair Morton.  To this union were born two daughters Doris and Melvina.  For a time the Mortons lived in Nebraska, and then they moved to Wyoming where they lived about nine years.  For the next few years the family lived in various parts of Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska.  Carrie Belle Morton is survived by two brothers Henry and Rolly Reid; two sisters, Daisy and Louise Reid; two daughters Doris Ainsworth and Melvina Ainsworth, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
     On August 18, 1956 Charles Sinclair Morton preceded his wife in death.
