TEN SLEEP -- Tracy Marie Peterson, 12, died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, north of Ten Sleep.
She was born Nov. 7, 1985, in Worland to Michael S. and Donna M. (Turgeon) Peterson. She was raised in Ten Sleep, where she attended school and was a seventh grade student. She liked to ride her horse, Star, and at one time, she barrel raced. She was an active volleyball player and enjoyed skiing. She also liked to listen to music and play her flute. She was a member of the Ten Sleep Girl Scout Troop.
She is survived by her parents, Michael Peterson, of Ten Sleep, and Donna Peterson, of Worland; and her sister, Kadi Peterson, of Ten Sleep. Also she is survived by her grandparents, Don and Julie Peterson, of Cody, Don and Sharon Turgeon, of Corona, Calif., Judith McCoy, of Woodbury, Vt., Carol Lofhouse, of Corona, Calif., and Betty Turgeon, of Ten Sleep.
Also, she is survived by her great grandfather, Joseph Woletz, of Eau Clarie, Wisc.; and her special friends, stepmother Lisa Buller, of Ten Sleep, Joselyn Cabre and Shana Wyman, both of Ten Sleep, and Carolyn Bosner, of Riverton. Also, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the area.
Visitation will be held at Veile Mortuary from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, and from 8 a.m. to service time Friday, Sept. 11, at the Ten Sleep Methodist Church, with Pastor Mike Brush, of the Church of Christ in Worland, officiating.
