TEN SLEEP - Private services will be held at a later date in Ten Sleep Cemetery for Ethel Alberta Ryan, 96, who died July 10, 2004, at Worland Healthcare.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Veile Mortuary of Worland.
Born Dec. 12, 1907, in Jasper, Mich., she was the daughter of Edwin A. and Minnie (Groat) Smith.
On April 21, 1928, she married Victor Ryan in Cheyenne.
She and her husband owned and operated Deluxe Cleaners in Worland in the late 1940s to mid-1950s. They moved from Casper to Ten Sleep in 1967.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Cogdill of Ten Sleep; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
Ethel was a very talented seamstress and made many quilts out of old levis complete with the pockets. She loved playing bingo. She was the Avon lady for many years. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and made everyone feel welcomed by her.
