     TEN SLEEP --- Longtime Worland and Ten Sleep-area resident Inge M. Sudnagis, 61, died of cancer on Friday, Jan. 12 at her home in Ten Sleep.

     She was born on Jan. 31, 1934 in Apolda/Thuringen, Germany, a daughter of Oskar Fritz and Gertrude Charlotte (Schatz) Aurich.  She lived in East Germany until her family fled to Tailfingen, West Germany, where she was raised by her grandmother.

     On Feb. 1, 1958, she married Martin Sudnagis in Tailfingen.

     After their marriage they moved to Worland, and in 1961 the family moved to Casper.  In 1969 they moved to Ten Sleep, where Mrs. Sudnagis owned and operated the Valley Motel until her death.

     She was a member of the Ten Sleep Merchants Association and Grace Lutheran Church in Worland.  Her hobbies included fishing, hunting, working in her yard, and cooking for her family.

     She is survived by her husband of Ten Sleep; a son, Harry of Ten Sleep; a daughter, Rosemary Pahl of Hardin, Mont.; two brothers, Peter Aurich and Werner Aurich, both of Germany; two sisters, Renate Rohleder and Edith Aurich, both of Germany; and two grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents.

     The service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Worland, with Pastor Cliff Gronneberg officiating.  Burial will follow at noon at the Ten Sleep Cemetery.
