Wayne Washburne Tully was born in Washakie county, WY (Big Trails) to James ‘Henry’ Tully and his wife, Fannie Washburne in 1913.  The Tully’s had already been blessed a little more than a year with a daughter Mary.  The children were grew up in that area, were schooled there until they were of high school age and then attended a Casper, WY school after which Wayne and his sister parted company.  She went on to the University of Wyoming and it appears that Wayne stayed in the rural setting he was accustomed to around Ten Sleep.  In 1932, Wayne Washburne Tully, astride of his own saddle horse, met his death in Ten Sleep, WY.
