     WORLAND --- Marion B. Culver, 80, of Worland died Friday, December 4, 1998 at Washakie Memorial Hospital in Worland.
     She was born April 28, 1918 in Ten Sleep, the daughter of Frank and Mellie May (Jones) Bull.  She was married to Glen W. Culver  on Dec. 31, 1946 in Billings, Mont.
     She was raised and schooled at Ten Sleep, and graduated as the Salutatorian of Ten Sleep High School in 1936.  She then went to Barnes Business College in Denver for one year, then returned to Worland, where she worked for the Washakie County Clerk's Office under Eddie Conant for 10 years as the deputy county clerk.  She was then employed as the school secretary at the Manderson High School and also did the bookkeeping for the Hyattville school district for a number of years.
     She then worked for the U.S. Forest Service for a short period before working for Washakie Memorial Hospital for 10 years as a bookkeeper, then retiring in 1983.  Following her retirement she served on the NOWCAP board for Northern Wyoming.  She was an artist and enjoyed oil painting.  Her hobby was growing flowers, especially zinnias.
     She is survived by her husband, Glen W. Culver of Worland; one  son, Gerald J. Culver of Worland; a grandson, Glen J. Culver of Rock Springs (Marion raised Glen J.); one brother, William F. Bull of Worland; and two sisters, Elaine L. Calkins of Worland, and Nona L. Lyman of Basin.
     She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Millie J. Buchanan and Bessie B. Everett.
     Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the United Methodist Church in Worland with Rev. Phillip Mills of Worland officiating.  Burial will be in the Ten Sleep Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
