     AURORA, Colo. --- Derrik Wilesy Gorham, 19. died Thursday, April 19, 2001 at Quinter, Kansas in a car accident.
     Derrik was born Aug. 27, 1981 in Worland, the son of Nancy Lea (Moses) and Allen Gorham.
     He attended schools in Ten Sleep, Powell, Buffalo and East Burke, Vermont.  He joined the Job Corps in Darby, Mont.
     At the time of his death he was employed at Wal-Mart in Aurora.
     During his school years, Derrik was a member of the U.S.S. Swim team, played soccer and basketball, and was a Boy Scout.
     He loved the mountains and fishing and enjoyed growing roses.   
     Derrik was preceded in death by both  his grandfathers, Bob Moses of Ten Sleep and Albert Gorham of Vermont.
     He is survived by his parents, Nancy Lea (Roy) Sandy of Aurora and Allen (Bonnie) Gorham of East Burke, Vermont; a younger brother, Zachary Gorham of East Burke; stepbrother, Jon Sandy and stepsister, Julie Sandy both of Bloomington, Indiana; two grandmothers, Nancy Moses of Sheridan and Dorothy Gorham of Vermont; and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
     Cremation has taken place.
     A memorial service will be Friday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at the Methodist Church in Ten Sleep.
