     TEN SLEEP --- Emeron Leithead, a rancher for many years along the Lower Nowood near Ten Sleep, died Sunday at Washakie Memorial Hospital in Worland.
     Leithead was born Sept. 3, 1899 in Glendale, Utah, a son of Ben Lomand and Eliza Ann (Brinkerhoff) Leithead, Sr.  On Nov. 26, 1934, he married Mary J. Roy in Lovell.
     He moved from Utah to Lovell as a young boy and attended school in Lovell.  In 1919, he moved to the Lower Nowood where he ranched until retiring in 1968.  He then moved to Ten Sleep where he resided until moving to the Bethesda Care Center in February 1986.
     He was a member of the Ten Sleep Ward of the LDS Church.
     Survivors include his wife  of Ten Sleep; a son, Eldon, of Hyattville; a daughter, Mrs. Miles (Marlene) Diede of Great Falls, Mont.; and six grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by three brothers; and by six sisters.
     The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ten Sleep LDS Church, with Bishop John Gerstner officiating.  Burial will be at the Ten Sleep Cemetery.
     The casket  will be open for viewing at the church on Wednesday from noon until the start of the funeral service.
