     TEN SLEEP -- Boyd S. Lyman, 81, of Ten Sleep, died Thursday, May 20, 1999 at Washakie Memorial Hospital in Worland.
     He was born on Aug. 5, 1917 in Parowan, Utah, the son of Clark and Amelia (Stubbs) Lyman.  At the age  of five he moved with his family to Otto.  He married Bernice Sprague on March 15, 1938 in Otto.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.  They made their home in Otto until moving to Ten Sleep in 1948.  They raised their family in Ten Sleep.  He loved ranching, hunting, and in his younger years, working sheep.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
     He is survived by three sons, Mark S. Lyman, and Dwight (Betty) Lyman of Ten Sleep, and Clark S. Lyman of Riverton; two daughters, Virgie and the late (Ted) Lasater, and Sally (Bill) Davis, all of St. George, Utah; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clair of Worland and Wayne of Bakersfield, Calif.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bernice, one  son Bradley, three brothers and three sisters.
     Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 24, at the Ten Sleep Cemetery in Ten Sleep, with Bishop Terril Mills conducting.
     Visitation for family and friends  will be  from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 23 at  the Bryant Funeral Home in Worland.
