     Laura V. McLaughlin, 76, died Tuesday at Bethesda Care Center in Worland.
     She was born Aug. 13, 1909, at Ten Sleep to Zina Z. and Anna M. (Miller) McCreery.  She married George McLaughlin on Sept. 12, 1927.  They were later divorced.
     McLaughlin was raised in the Ten Sleep area and attended schools there.  She had worked for many ranches in the area as a cook, and had also worked as a cook for Deer Haven Lodge and for Meadowlark Lodge.  She moved to Bethesda Care Center in 1978.
     She was preceded in death by one son, Clinton "Sandy" McLaughlin, who was killed while serving in Korea in 1951; her parents; four brothers. and two sisters.
     She is survived by two brothers, Leo "Pete" McCreery of Shell and  Oren "Danny" McCreery of Idaho; and two sisters, Mrs. Hayden (Alma) Blair of Ten Sleep and Mrs. Ed  (Myrtle) Bott of Evergreen, Colo.
     A graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ten Sleep Cemetery.  Rev. James Heites will officiate.
