     Walter Patch, Jr., 88 died February 6th at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.  He was born June 10, 1908 in Buffalo and went through high school there.  He received a degree in agriculture from the University of Wyoming as an Agricultural Consultant.  He married Betty Martin in Eden on May 25, 1931.  He joined the Army Air Corp in WWII serving in the  Pacific and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  After the war he returned to work for the State until 1959 when the family moved to Ten Sleep and lived until 1993 when he became a resident of the Veterans' Home in Buffalo until the time of his death.  Walter was a member of the Ten Sleep Masonic Lodge, the Shrine, the Consistory, the York Rite, the Eastern Star and the Congregational Church in Buffalo.  He is survived by a son, Walter H. Patch of Cheyenne, a daughter, Ruth Siebenthaler of Ten Sleep, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a son Martin.  Funeral services were held on Monday the 10th at Ten Sleep Methodist Church at 2  pmBurial at Ten Sleep Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital or Barbara Davis Center for Juvenile Diabetes.
